Dogs for Labyrinth Lord


Every adventurer loves dogs, cute, useful and ultimately disposable. Here are some rules for levelling up and developing dogs for those animal lovers who want to keep their pets alive.

  • To Hit as monster = Level, Save as Fighter = Level
  •  Start able to understand Attack, Defend and Stay as basic commands
  • When given a command that would be harder to obey ("Attack that dragon, we're just off out the back") roll for moral
  • Starting Morale is 6, unless otherwise noted for breed. +1 morale for being well treated (per session), +1 on level up
  •  On level dog can learn a new command or taught ability
  • Gains XP as up to a quarter of their owners share, XP sharing is optional
